Batik is a lost wax method of dying in which multiple layers of cold water dyes are used to create beautiful designs. We will experiment which this dye method to create works of wearable art. Materials fee is $25.

Learn the elongated proportions of the fashion figure, basic female musculature and body language to create expressive Fashion Illustrations. Materials fee is $20.

Hunakai Studio is offering full day art programs. 9am-4pm, students will experience 2 different classes in one day, an AM and PM class, with a lunch break in between. The watercolor curriculum is broken down into concrete skills development. Basics from material use, control of the paint and brush work are all taught. Wet into wet, dry brush, specially prepared surface and special effects are all brought into play as the students learn to let the medium do the work to create the desired effects. Students bring in their own supplies or $30 materials fee.
