As August draws to a close, students of all ages will be heading back to school for another year of learning. We here at Hunakai Studio of Fine Art are also ready for another round of classes, with the fall semester kicking off Sept. 12th. These classes are open to artists of all ages who are either looking to have some fun, learn some new skills or work on their current artistic ability. Let’s look at some of the class sessions planned this fall.
Our classes for children are tailored to the grade level your child is in, ranging from kindergarten to fourth grade. We also offer a preschool course for little ones who are just getting used to a classroom setting. If your child is homeschooled, we have a class for them as well, offered in the morning during the week.
Our classes for teens are more tailored towards specific aspects of art, allowing your teen or preteen an opportunity to really explore the particular world of art that interests them most. Types of classes include digital art and design, clay sculpting, graffiti, 3D sculpting, acrylics and printmaking. We also offer a class to help high schoolers prepare to apply for art school through our High School Portfolio Development. Throughout the course, we will help students develop the skills needed to be competitive with the college admissions process while helping them build a portfolio that will stand out.
Many of the classes offered to teens are available in adult versions as well. At Hunakai Studio of Fine Arts, it doesn’t matter if you’re a beginner or whether you’ve been an artist for a long time, we have a wide variety of classes available that are sure to please everyone. Outside of our normal art classes, we also offer an art history class, as well, perfect for people who are interested in exploring how art has evolved over time.
If you’re interested in any of the mentioned classes, there’s still time to sign up for the autumn semester. To enroll in any of these classes or to learn more about them, call us today at 508-543-5665!
