Ages: Grades 6+
This art class focuses on creating illustrations in line, texture, patterns and values all with different pen and ink techniques. Several pen and ink mediums will be use: india ink, brush, calligraphy, monoprinting etc. This class can been used as an extension of skills from our drawing basics and beyond class. Or taken by students who wish to expand their drawing passion into new avenues. Students will be encouraged to experiment and get creative when they are making their illustrations and learn point of view, a necessary progression for every young artist.
How our classes work
- Classes run for 2 month sessions. There are an average of 7 classes per session.
- Session dates are Sept+Oct, Nov+Dec, Jan+Feb, Mar+Apr, May+Jun. Classes in July and August follow our separate summer schedule.
- Tuition prices are for the 2 month session.
- Spots are held for current students. You must formally withdraw from class.
- You must supply your own materials.
